WORK HOURS WILL VARY. PLANNED 40 HR WEEKS
These individuals will be the on-site airport representatives for the program. This necessitates that persons will be regularly at the airports, many of which may be remote from their home location.
This position is for an Airport Project Manager in support of the Department of Homeland Security. The intent is to hire individuals who are geographically dispersed throughout the country who can easily travel to nearby airports.
Persons in this position will provide technical, business, and integration support to regional managers for the development and execution of team and project plans.
1. Act as primary point of contact for project stakeholders at assigned airports; Work with internal and external customers to analyze and complete equipment installation/removal and test activities
2. Monitor and coordinate project implementation activities to ensure cost, schedule and regulatory requirements are met
3. Coordinate support functions and verify compliance with project requirements; Support activities at project work sites as needed
4. Report project status for program schedule and metrics maintenance
5. Develop and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
Positions are contingent on the ability to pass a DHS suitability clearance. Candidates do not need be resident in Texas, however, occasional meetings in Texas may be required.
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
