The job description is to provide Business Analyst support to Flight Test operations, specifically in support of the 787 & 747-8 Flight Test programs. The candidate would support the Discrete Work Requirements (DWR) tool, a business critical application that supports the work package management process. The candidate would represent the business end-users needs to the SW development team.
Summary of key responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Gathers and documents business requirements. Researches best practices and recommends system enhancements to improve functionality and efficiencies. Develops detailed user requirements.
Works with functional SMEs to develop test plans and scripts for testing of system enhancements and system interfaces to ensure functionality and user acceptance.
Works with functional SMEs to develop system training documentation and may provide direct end-user training to ensure continued and correct use of application.
Troubleshoots and resolves production issues and documents and communicates problem resolutions. Provides short-term user support for new systems as needed after implementation of changes.
