Procurement Agent

Summary Job Duties: Issues FAR based RFPs, negotiates FAR based purchase contracts, documents purchase contract, administers purchase contracts. Coordinates with and supports supplier management team, material estimating, contracts, supplier program managers, quality, engineering IPTs, and program managers.

Detailed job duties: Interfaces with the supplier to enforce the terms and conditions of multiple contract types. Establishes contract performance metrics, monitors supplier performance to contract terms and conditions, solves complex problems and mitigates risks to assure goods and services are delivered in accordance with contract terms. Coaches less experienced Chain Supply Chain Procurement Agents in development and monitoring of performance metrics, identification of problems and development of risk mitigation plans. Creates complex purchase contract types in business systems with negotiated terms and conditions using established policies and procedures as required to satisfy customer requirements for goods and services within limits of delegated purchasing authority. Coaches less experienced Supply Chain Procurement Agents in creating purchase contracts. Leads teams of Supply Chain Procurement Agents and other cross-functional employees in developing purchase contracts within limits of delegated authority. Develops recommendations to improve policies and procedures. Conducts peer reviews of purchase contracts for compliance with applicable policies and procedur

JOB SKILLS: Familiar with Networks Procurement, EPIC, other Client systems- preferred. Experienced negotiater of FAR based purchase purchase contracts- preferred. Familiarity with Client Supplier Management Procedures- preferred.

10-25% travel

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree.

Prefer: FAR/DFAR experience, NWP procurement systems experience
