This position is responsible for designing, fabrication and use of manufacturing tools for assembly, test and integration of complex precision structures, electromechanical components and Antenna Subsystems. Evaluate requirements for assembly, test and integration of flight hardware. Create concept designs to detailed design of tooling in support of assembly, test and integration of flight hardware. Create and release tooling engineering on schedule. Will coordinate with stress engineers to analyze tooling to meet design and test tooling requirements. Ensures producibility; ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements are incorporated in tool designs. Ensure all tooling processes and procedures are followed.
JOB SKILLS: Proficiency with Pro-Engineer is required. Experience in aerospace tooling is required, preference for experience with RF or optical systems.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
