Quality Planner

Manage an effective and efficient Quality Management System. Develop and administer directives, policies, processes and procedures to assure program/contract, company, customer/government, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements are deployed. Conduct research and use benchmarking to industry standards. Compile, measure and analyze process capability data, models and process improvements. Conduct quality system/process reviews, provide customer interface, and ensure preventive and corrective action. Review products, processes, equipment, and measurement systems. Develop or utilize statistical process improvement methods. Provide technical expertise to company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies. Ensures compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements to assure quality system compliance. Provide education and coaching on the Quality Management System. Apply knowledge of quality inspection and manufacturing processes in order to create, revise, and audit production instructions and inspection plans. Ability to ensure sequenced inspection control points, create and maintain inspection accountability systems, provide planning support to production areas, and ensure that mandatory customer and regulatory inspections are released, revised, sequenced, and tracked. Ability to maintain configuration accountability, material traceability, and reliability data.

Must be able to validate plans against 3D CATIA models. Previous Manufacturing Engineering / planning experience in 3D model work environment in lieu of previous quality experience is acceptable.
