This position reports to the Health & Insurance Operations Team to provide analyses of edits from our financial reporting system and determine the actions needed to reconcile data integrity issues and support payment to our health and welfare plan carriers. Liaison with our fiscal operations accounting team to ensure benefit changes are accurately reflected in our financial reporting system. Responsible to work data edits to reconcile our payroll synchronization process. Responsible to research and compile benefit data for audits and other legal inquiries, as directed. This position is responsible to work with our data management team to review trends and seek improvement opportunities in our administrative practices. Develops solutions to complex internal administrative and process or system requirements. Serves as Subject Matter Expert in support of implementation projects, including requirements definition and acceptance testing. Researches and prepares ad hoc reports, compiles metrics for analysis and prepares improvement plans as needed. Provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) consultation to coworkers regarding benefit issues and concerns when appropriate. Other duties as required to ensure that the Health & Insurance Operations Team meets all commitments.
JOB SKILLS: Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources with clients, customers and/or suppliers.
Extensive and specialized knowledge of HR database applications, data elements, and how to retrieve needed data.
Extensive knowledge of Health & Welfare Plan designs, eligibility and administrative practices.
