Software Engineer for the Warfighter Machine Interface Services (WMIS) portion of the Brigade Combat Team Modernization (previously FCS) program. Work with the WMIS Software Manager to define and coordinate interfaces (at the Use Case, Sequence Diagram, and IDL levels) across multiple software components and software systems to ensure we provide the warfighter the information and control they need on the battlefield. Participate in team and peer review meetings as a presenter and evaluator. Work according to established guidelines and CMMI compliant processes.
JOB SKILLS: Experience on the FCS program, User Interface systems, and in software system integration are pluses. Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
