Communicate and consult with internal/external stakeholders at all organizational levels to ensure products and services meet requirements. Provide expert guidance in improvements of complex engineering designs, manufacturing processes, large scale systems integration, and software applications such as DELMIA, ENOVIA, CATIA, EPLAN, 3DVIA (WKC), and Team Center. Act as a consultant on advanced projects that lead to the implementation of new and/or advanced technology and strategic initiatives.
Analyzes data to make recommendations on projects requiring manufacturing engineering practices. Manages projects using approved project management techniques. Coordinates improvements in engineering designs, manufacturing processes. Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation. Assists with consultation and training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production. Participates on product development teams and identifies producability issues to maximize efficiency. Performs feasibility studies in support of product development. Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production and process requirements in support of the manufacturing plan. Must be able to work under general direction.
JOB SKILLS: Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical understanding of Delmia, Team Center, DCAC MRM.
