Journal Preparation: Gathers, prepares and reconciles accounting transactions to support appropriate cost recording and distribution. Applies basic company policy in order to appropriately record costs. Works with other organizations to determine appropriate treatment and to troubleshoot errors.
JOB SKILLS:
Must have basic knowledge of accounting theory and practices. Must have good communication skills and be detail oriented. Experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and other personal computer applications required.
Education: Accounting degree or equivalent experience
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
