Position Description: **Position is 2nd or 3rd shift** **Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance** The Company Defense, Space & Security team is seeking a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer – Electronics Center of Excellence located in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing troubleshooting across multiple functions to resolve circuit card functional test failures, including process improvements. Position Responsibilities Include: Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity. Leads the development of test procedures Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures Design calibration system/test fixtures Develop data processing tools and algorithms Generate calibration procedures and software Guide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements Oversee debriefing of the test team Lead the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements Approve test data prior to delivery to customer Formulate expectations for test data based on historical data Perform functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity Trains others Work under minimal direction

Requirements: Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 3+ years of experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings 3+ years of experience in Nonconformance Processing 3+ years of experience with electronics trouble shooting, repair and schematics Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience with circuit card and/or electronics manufacturing 5+ years of experience designing, testing, and integrating a digital circuit card assembly Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
