Position Description:

Positions could be in Everett, Auburn, Renton, Puyallup or Seattle, WA

Positions are for 2nd Shift - 2:30 - 11:00pm

Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues. Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs. Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules. Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Works under general direction.

Engaged in the implementation of technical solutions into the build plan, ensuring production safety and stability and product reliability.
Collect and analyze production data to identify anomalies and investigate root causes when product first-pass quality and/or production efficiency is outside our standards of excellence.
Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems that arise during production to ensure integrity of the product and to minimize impact to performance, cost or schedule.
Supports complex integration of aircraft mechanical and electrical systems into the aircraft build plan, ensuring an efficient and repeatable process for systems installation.
Involved with production and design engineers across commodities to ensure integration of electrical systems with all other interfacing airplane components (structures, interiors, etc.).
Demonstrates a drive for innovative solutions for tooling and equipment to install and test electrical components more efficiently, earlier on in the build process, and more ergonomically for mechanics.
Regularly engages with mechanics and electricians on airplane manufacturing/assembly processes, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of the aircraft build plan.
Collaborates across teams to implement new engineering improvements and drawing revisions for detail, assembly and installation build plans: including but not limited to electrical systems design, equipment installation, functional test, and more.
Apply technical knowledge to innovate and develop manufacturing and assembly solutions
Requirements:


-Previous aircraft experience
-Manufacturing experience
-Past experience with an aerospace company

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
