Position Description:

Company Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an opportunity within Autonomous Systems for and Avionics Integrator - Sr. Level (Level 4). This position supports the QF-16 Program and Autonomous Systems' Growth division which is responsible for developing and demonstrating technologies required for Autonomous Systems division growth as well as capturing new business opportunities leveraging existing Autonomous Systems platforms. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies by investigating problems. Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Applies a working knowledge of interactions between other disciplines. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment. The candidate must have good communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with others and lead across a wide variety of technical disciplines. Position Responsibilities:

•Technical leadership of a multidisciplinary team to develop technology and demonstrate capabilities in laboratory testing and flight test activities.
•Acting as a trusted partner with key program partners and suppliers, guiding decisions and shaping strategies for execution of the established plan.
•Developing architectures to integrate complex systems and components into higher level systems and platforms.
•Developing and validating requirements for various systems and components (electrical/electronic, mechanical, structural, and interfaces)
•Managing supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
•Supporting project management by coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and conducting appropriate reviews.
•Reporting of task execution status (budget, schedule, risks, issues, etc.) to program leadership.
•Generating major sections of proposals to support development of new business.
•Preparing documentation for program review, tests, and coordination with other programs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
•Experience communicating and collaborating across a variety of teams, customers, and suppliers.
•Experience compiling and presenting data, issues, and resolutions to senior leaders, including executives

Requirements:


•Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with unmanned systems.
•Experience with proposal development.
•Development and validation of sensor/electromagnetic requirements for electrical/electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.
•Experience with sensor integration, sensor development, sensor behavior and analysis.

Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
