Position Description: Researches, analyzes and interprets engineering data to develop and evaluate retrofit/repair product configurations. Develops and defines customer retrofit/repair requirements. Integrates data from configuration management sources. Creates retrofit/repair product designs. Develops processes, tests and validates retrofit/repair installations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards. Verifies retrofit/repair design compliance with customer/regulatory requirements to enable approval. Directs use of process improvement methodologies. Analyzes customer technical queries and provides retrofit/repair solutions. Works under general direction. Stress and composite experience an asset.

Requirements: REQUIRED SKILLS: CATIA V5, Stress Analysis (DO NOT WANT DESIGNERS); composite or composite repair experience, previous work on 787; experience with structural repair manual. DESIRED SKILLS: Enovia, experience with test reports and/or technical writing. Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
