Position Description:

In your role you will:
• Be part of the new Global 7000/8000 & CSeries product development team
• Work in a very dynamic integrated product development team (IPDT) involving all technical and production functions
• Drive to put forward optimal solutions for major aircraft structures
• Integrate latest manufacturing technologies and processes
• Carry out preliminary and detailed sizing
• Analyses and ensure requirements (stress, strength, fatigue, damage tolerance, weights)
• Validate engineering drawings
• Support IPDT team
• Prepare certification reports and support entry-into-service
Requirements:


Key Skills:
- Must have knowledge and experience of structural sizing methodologies.
- Must be competent in one of the following and have some knowledge of all other aspects of analysis (Structural stress analysis, FEM, fatigue/DTA and loads).
- Must have experience in at least one of the following skills in the structural integrity qualification (loads, stress, fatigue and damage tolerance) of airplane components.
- Must have Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation technical requirements ( TCCA, FAA & EASA).
- Must have eExperience of working with new design and must be able to demonstrate understanding of aircraft component load path and functions.
- Must have experience using Patran and Nastran.
- Must have working knowledge of Catia V5, finite element modeling and analysis is an asset.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with commonly used software ( MS Office )
- Must have excellent leadership skills and must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

As our ideal candidate,
- You hold a University mechanical or civil or aerospace engineering degree
- You have a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
- Your experience should include at least one of the following skills in the structural integrity qualification
(loads, stress, fatigue and damage tolerance) of airplane components
- You have the knowledge of CATIA, finite element modeling and analysis is an asset.
- You have general computer skills - essential
- You are a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of
supervision
- You read and write in English and have good communication skills. Being bilingual (French and
English) is an asset.
