Position Description:
In your role, you will;
• Lead the Integrated Product Development Team (Supply Chain, Human Factors, EMI, Reliability & Safety, Customer Support, Method, Operations, Technical Publication, Quality, Wiring)
• Manage systems and structure interfacing requirements
• Support certification dossier building (ARP4754 process, qualification reports completeness, conformity report, change management, …)
• Negotiate Company's processes with their authors in order to customize them to the specificity of Off The Shelf units (Black Labels)
• Carry out system tests and support ground and flight test activities (tests plan, analysis, report and issue management)
• Prepare and present phase exit reports
• Manage Supplier relationship
• Participate in troubleshooting; develop/implement resolution plans when test anomalies occur.
In your role, you will be asked to work on various avionics systems such as:
• CVR/FDR (Cockpit Voice Recorder / Flight Data Recorder)
• ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter)
• IRS (Inertial Reference System)
• ADS (Air Data System)
• Integrated Cockpit Panels
You could also be asked to work on the following additional systems:
• OMS (On-Board Maintenance System)
• EFB (Electronic Flight Bag)

Requirements:
As our ideal candidate,
• You understand industrial background (overall vision)
• You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (avionics, electrical or aerospace) and you have a minimum of five (8) years of experience as an avionics integrator.
• You are familiar with part FAR25 / 525 and JAA OPS.
• You have knowledge of Reliability & Maintainability and avionics equipment qualification.
• You are familiar with ground/flight test environment.
• Knowledge of part121 and JAR OPS is an asset
• Good oral and writing skills in English are required.
• You must possess Microsoft office computer skills.
• You must possess the ability to work with minimum supervision, be a team player and have project organization skills.
• You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment.
• You must be able to travel abroad for short periods if necessary.
• Familiarity with the BA engineering system and requirement management software tools are also assets.
• You have real communication and negotiation skills
Key Skills:
• Must be familiar with part FAR25 / 525 certification process.
• Knowledge of part 121 and JAR OPS operational requirements is an asset .
• Must have knowledge of Reliability & Maintainability of avionics equipment qualification.
• Must have working knowledge with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have Project Management / organization skills.
• Good oral and writing skills in English are required.
• Familiarity with the BA engineering system and requirement management software tools are also assets.
• Must have strong communication and negotiation skills
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Flight Test data analysis experience is an asset.
• Previous experience with Air Data Systems and other Avionic Systems is required
