Overview

*** DIRECT HIRE / PERMANENT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY ***

The Technical Services Representative/Mfg Engineer will play a key role in preparing Company documentation, planning activities, and drawing approvals. This position also works directly with internal and external customers in support of product installations.

- Drawing Technical Review.
- Develops manufacturing planning, tooling concepts, and processes for product installations.
- Implements process and tooling improvements to reduce span times and costs for product installations.
- Provide subject matter expertise to Company when interacting with MROs/Repair Stations.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the company.
- Commitment to company core values.

- Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

ON-SITE FUNCTIONS:
- Provides on-site Technical support to Company's Customers / MRO Vendors for installation of product.
- Must be able to travel (including internationally) for extended periods (3-4 weeks) for up to 50% of the year, depending on needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to receive and maintain a Boeing Badge through the Company's application process.
- FAA Airframe License, FAA Repairman’s Certificate, or equivalent is required.
- Successful candidate must not possess any issues that would impose travel restrictions.
- Must be a US Citizen.

GENERAL SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- Significant structures experience or significant mechanical experience with structures knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tooling drawings, installation planning and engineering specifications.
- Ability to create installation planning and develop job sequencing documentation is required.
- Ability to guide organizations through the modification process and communicate status at all levels of management / supervision.
- Ability to work well within all levels of an organization including shop leads and aircraft mechanics.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage and track a variety of commodities against projected demand.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to work to expectations without supervision.
- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PPT and Adobe.
- Degree (Engineering or engineering related) desirable but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to stand for up to 4 hours without a break.
- Must have physical agility and flexibility to fit into tight spaces and to ascend and descend stairs, ladders and scaffolding.
- Must not possess a mental aversion to heights.
