Apply knowledge of engineering principles, customer requirements, vendor capabilities, design requirements, and applicable regulations (FAR’s, JAR’s, etc.) in order to design primary and secondary structures for commercial aircraft. Apply knowledge of computer aided design/analysis tools in order to develop, integrate, and evaluate engineering designs. Research parts, assemblies, and installation configurations to ensure proper interface between aircraft structure/systems and interior components. Work closely with program management and manufacturing engineering on developing most efficient design relative to material cost and labor.
