Systems & Data Analyst 3

Performs research and analysis on processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. Consults with customers to clarify and refine requirements. Interprets and translates requirements into functional specifications. Develops and executes tests to validate system functionality against specifications.

• Researches processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design.
• Prepares business case analyses as required
• Performs systems analyses and designs complex systems.
• Prepares system proposals, specifications, and test plans
• Consults with customers to clarify and refine requirements.
• Interprets and translates requirements into functional specifications.
• Develops and executes tests to validate system functionality against specifications.
• Schedules and plans assigned work.
• Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.
• Prepares program specification and work estimates for assigned tasks.
• Prepares program documentation in compliance with established departmental standards.
• Performs systems analysis on moderately complex systems

• Experience in Quality Center (QC) Test Management tool experience
• Experience in one or more of the following HP Service Manager, Asset Manager, or, uCMDB, experience
• Previous experience working on HP uCMDB/DDMa, Discovery and relationships is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ITIL.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Communicates with department management and functional users on project requirements, activities, and status.
