Develop and lead Weight Engineering Data Management and Visibility processes. Provide airplane program support for writing and collecting Weight Change Requests (WCRs) for all Company Commercial airplane models. Work with Weight Engineers and Managers to publish regularly scheduled Airplane Weight Status Reports and Visibility data. Gain experience and understanding of Airplane Weight Reporting processes and work with the Weight Engineering user community to design and improve Data Management methods, tools, facilitating accurate and timely Airplane Weight Forecasting and Visibility. Provide knowledge and expertise in new technologies and software related to publishing and presenting Airplane Weight data utilizing Web design and Database connectivity. Provide expertise and programming skills using web design (Cold Fusion), SQL Server, HTML, HTML5, and Java
Education/Experience: ABET accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry preferred, although not required.
Typically a person in this position would possess Engineering processes knowledge and a minimum of 5 years’ experience related to application and tool development with in-depth knowledge using SQL server. Individual must have excellent teaming skills and be able to clearly communicate technical information to both internal and external customers. Applied knowledge in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL Server, Cold Fusion, HTML, XML is preferred. Knowledge of Oracle, Macromedia Flash, Visual Studio, Visual Basic, ASP, JSP, and HTML5 are desire able.
