Job Description:
To support Ft Walton Beach, FL mod/retrofit team performing modifications to V-22 aircraft at various locations in the CONUS. The selected candidate will perform airframe/structural duties required in the execution of modifications to V-22 aircraft. Candidate will interact with retrofit team members and perform related airframe tasks as assigned by retrofit team lead.
Education / Experience:
Candidate for this position must be able to read and interpret engineering source data (i.e. engineering drawings, technical data instructions, service instructions). Previous experience performing maintenance tasks on aircraft is required. Performs operational testing and troubleshooting of airframe & hydraulic systems and can isolate mechanical or electrical faults. Modifies aircraft systems according to technical directives, follows safety and tool control procedures. Under general supervision, performs modifications procedures. Resolves and corrects routine problems during operation, maintenance and modification of deliverable products. Ensures adequacy, accuracy and thoroughness of product modification. Rotorcraft experience is preferred. V-22 maintenance experience desired.
REQUIREMENTS:
9+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
