**MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN INTERIM SECRET CLEARANCE**
An ability to obtain an interim and final clearance (post-start) is required for this position - US Citizenship Required or equivalent. Applicants with a current Secret Clearance with an investigation within the past 5 years are preferred. This is a general requisition that supports multiple staffing requirements for BMA and Phantom Works in St. Louis/St. Charles. This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering with preference for aerospace/aeronautical, civil, or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited program; an MS in an engineering discipline is highly desired. Successful candidates will have a solid academic background and be proficient with classical stress analysis techniques, finite element modeling (PATRAN,NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Mechanica), Durability and Damage Tolerance (D&DT) Tools. Experience with MIL-STD-100 drawings, Teamcenter V8, and Unigraphics NX6 are preferred.
We will consider candidates from other industries. However, at the more senior grade levels (3, 4+), we would expect some aircraft industry experience… which could include space/helicopters.
REQUIREMENTS:
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
