Researches and analyzes engineering data to develop and evaluate retrofit/repair product configurations. Develops and defines customer retrofit/repair requirements. Creates retrofit/repair product designs. Develops processes, tests and validates retrofit/repair installations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards. Uses and implements process improvement methodologies. Analyzes customer technical queries and provides retrofit/repair solutions.
JOB SKILLS: Knowledge of structural repair principles for repair and maintenance (e.g., fatigue and corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair technichques). Ability to independently develop structural repair data for composite and metal structure. Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines to develop repair data (e.g., Materials, Structures, Stress, Aerodynamics) to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Complete knowledge of ENOVIA and CATIA V5 Degree and typical experience in engineering classification.
Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
