Position Description: Manufacturing Engineer As Contract Manufacturing Engineer Level 1, you will be working closely with Electrical Equipment & Wiring design engineers in the development of designs and releases of electronic / electrical / mechanical & wiring drawings and 3D MBD Model based definition data packages referencing and using CATIA V5 and IMAN TCE Team Center Engineering PDM & HMS MES manufacturing information management system. Also assist in the revision and release of legacy 2D CATIA & Mylar type Drawings. - Duties include developing Aircraft Helicopter installation work instructions of various Instrument and Switch Panel assemblies, Electronic boxes, Avionic Racks, Shelves, including wiring of the entire aircraft & all other aircraft type electrical and avionics aircraft installations such as lightings, antennas, & sensors. - Develops aircraft work instructions for multiple H47 Chinook Helicopter customers by applying company, industry and governmental standards. Uses computer-aided design viewers of (CATIA V5 CAD System) electronic work instruction methods and review design precedents to document and maintain MBOM configuration control of engineering designs for use by downstream organizations (e.g., manufacturing, test). - Coordinates to ensure schedule compliance commitments are met. - Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
