Develop basic design concepts used in the design, development and production of aeronautical/aerospace components and systems. Perform conceptual design, modification and development using 3-dimensional Computer-Aided Design software (e.g. CATIA). Analyze initial or revised design proposals, specifications and related engineering data to determine feasibility of design or application with regard to performance specifications. Scope of responsibility includes initial product definition, integration, manufacturing support, certification and in-service support. Areas of design responsibility include primary structures, aircraft interiors, flight-deck related structures, mechanical and electromechanical support structures, and electrical support related structures and systems.
