Position Description

2-5 years Experience in writer/publications role, technical writer preferred.

Responsible for creating new and revising existing technical documents, including test and analysis reports, procedures, standards, manuals. Organizes and analyzes source materials such as design and test specifications, test result data, analytical data, design diagrams, and schematics. Work is project-oriented with collaboration from Design Engineers, Quality Engineers, Test Engineers, and other Tech Writers.

Competencies:
1 )Ability to understand and articulate the Company's technical requirements and translate their requirements into technical documentation
2) Excellent written communication skills in relation to documentation and desktop publishing. Must have strong, demonstrated skill set creating documents in MS Word and Adobe software using forms/templates, table of contents, references, bookmarks
3) Makes a commitment to ensure that a customer needs are met by taking personal responsibility for service and quality.
