Uses 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools to define or revise mechanical/structural engineering product definitions. Integrates 3D scan data into CAD files as reference for modeling platforms and support equipment. The work would be mostly 3D modeling, assisting with the set-up and operation of laser scanning equipment and the preparation of models for use in the DELMIA simulation environment. Works under close supervision.
REQUIREMENTS:
AS degree in Drafting Technology plus 4 years experience or BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Architectural or Construction
Needs to be a self-starter, ability to work well in a team environment and able to work multiple tasks in parallel.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
