The stress engineer will analyze aircraft structural designs and write substantiation reports to show compliance to the FAR's. Analysis work will entail both interiors and primary aircraft structure. Classical hand, computer, and FEM analytical methods will be used.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and minimum of five years aircraft structural analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
NASTRAN, Patran or FEMAP exposure desired.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
