JOB DESCRIPTION:
Researches shipping and freight invoice data using multiple systems; analyzes shipping/receiving data to determine chargeline information.
Works with internal and external shipping, A/R, and account management personnel to retrieve missing information and resolve payment issues.
Ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
Reconciles data discrepancies, validates and corrects errors.
Applies high level of integrity, diligence, accuracy, and attention to detail to chargeline coding and approval processes.
Participates on project teams and documents/prepares data and reports as needed.
Works effectively under general supervision.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
General bookkeeping/accounting experience needed - invoice coding and payment process knowledge a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel (import data, sort, filter, formatting, etc.)
Freight Payment experience and/or Shipping/Receiving experience helpful.
