We have a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity for Machine Design Engineers in St. Louis, MO with the industry leader in the production of honing equipment.
Description:
Department of 12 engineers
Team's responsibility is to get the product out of the door
2 year design cycle (on average)
Responsible for Bill of Materials (BOM) & design of new components
Highly visible and accountable role; as you will work with various employees and vendors on a regular basis
Day to day routine will be to work specifically with team to make sure product moves towards completing machine
Room to grow into higher engineering levels, other projects, or teams
Requirements:
4 year Mechanical Engineering degree is REQUIRED, no exceptions
3-5 yrs solid/core experience in machine design and automated machines
Hands on experience in metal works, fixtures, and tooling
Knowledge of ball screw mechanisms, linear ways, and spindles
Knowledge of CAD tools (Pro-E highly preferred)
NC Programming experience preferred
