Position

Overview

Position will be in support of ElectroMagnetic Effects group for Company.
Specifics of the statement of work will vary based on experience, and prior work. Applicant to this position assists in developing and validating lightning lab testing and analyzing results, as well as electrical systems and qualification efforts. Assists in the development of requirements, design, testing, and analysis of electromagnetics on electrical\electronic systems, mechanical systems, integrated designs, and structures. Performs trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component performance and to optimize design. Works with Lightning, HIRF, and EMC threats related to airplane design and certification. Defines and conducts tests in lightning labs, systems labs, and airplane environments to validate performance of designs to requirements. Collects and analyzes data on performance to ensure compliance and adequate protection. Supports project management by preparing and presenting project status data. Works under general supervision.

REQUIREMENTS:

12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
