Design the installation and integration of electrical/electronics subsystems, equipment, and components into commercial aircraft. This includes the installation of wiring and design of housing, enclosures, brackets, and thermal control. It also includes selection of wiring and connectors, and design of logic circuitry, and consoles. It also involves the design layout and drawing release including such areas as electrical interconnections, heat transfer, shock and vibration, and fabrication processing methods. Responsibilities include design and recommendation of improved processes; and coordination of design work with related engineering groups, manufacturing and customer support departments.
