Analyze engineering, business, and other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems, including use of MMODS to implement a lean based approach for development work. Define user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer capabilities, workflow, and limitations. Identify and implement solutions for design requirement changes using JSP, XML, JAVA Struts, and PL/SQL. Create and specify architectural and technical parameters, perform testing and quality assurance, evaluate existing software code, perform unit and system testing, log defects, and analyze causes. Work with existing database, object-oriented programming languages, and client-server applications. Perform the migration of variant data across databases. Participate in design meetings. Maintain understanding of current technologies and adhere to standard programming practices.
