We are currently seeking a communications specialist 2 for a two-month assignment supporting Company Fabrication in Auburn and Seattle, WA. Communication activities include: supporting implementation of Fabrication communications plan, providing communications advice and counsel to internal customers; leading employee communications efforts, coordinating with other internal or external organizations to provide timely, accurate, and appropriate information to key audiences; assisting with developing a new look and feel for the Company Fabrication internal home page and an internal business unit; writing, editing and proofreading news, feature, promotional text and other copy to convey and tailor key messages to multiple audiences through a variety of media including Company publishings, and all other applicable communication vehicles; supporting execution of the Company's communication strategies and plans. This position holder will work closely with Communications counterparts in Fabrication Communications.
JOB SKILLS: Candidates should be experienced and able to demonstrate proficiency in developing and implementing communications plans for routine projects, providing counsel to executives; managing projects; researching and writing articles and executive presentations; and Web development and
maintenance experience.
2+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
