This position will be a Test Requirements & Analysis engineer on the P-8A Test & Evaluation ITT (Integrated Test Team) in support of flight test data for flying and/or lab test articles. This position will support the coordination of data requirements related to Loads, Aerodynamic/Propulsion, and Avionics related tests. It will support checkout and validation of the data acquisition and processing system, avionics database program and content, and data review tools. It is responsible for developing and setting up calculations which will operate on acquired test data.
This position will have responsibility for managing flight test data and maintain historical records to ensure processing repeatability. During test planning, this position will define the instrumentation and data requirements to satisfy test program objectives. It is responsible for processing, reviewing and analyzing data from flight testing.
This position is responsible for preparing the real-time and post-test data systems for testing, including coordination with ground station for telemetry flights. It will support the ITT in providing all test data products and data analysis assistance, as well as, supporting technical interchange meetings and reviews with the customer.
