JOB DUTIES: Lead Information Assurance Officer ( IAO), coordinating and leading the efforts for program Site IAO's Develops and applies secure systems architecture and design methods, processes, tools, and techniques to ensure compliance with security requirements. Develops, maintains and tracks system audits and requirements. Directs, conducts and mitigates comprehensive complex risk assessments and investigations. Oversees activities of incident response teams. Directs the development of training materials and enterprise wide processes. Provides compliance and audit support. Works under consultative direction.
JOB SKILLS: Bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Position requires US Citizenship. Applicants selected must have a current FINAL SECRET clearance - will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for accessing classified information. Successful candidate will have intimate knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) 8500 series, DIACAP and DISCAP processes, and will have experience in leading diverse teams. Must have extensive knowledge and experience using IA processes and technology, and good working knowledge of Windows and UNIX systems.
