This effort will entail the conversion of aviation training, courseware material, from Authorware to a Flash-based environment.
Candidates must have, quantifiable, proven abilities to work in a production environment and meet tight deadlines. They must demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems for computer-based training courseware. First-time quality is an expectation. As failing to meet project deadlines is unacceptable, they must be able to work independently with little or no immediate supervision. Initially, the individuals selected must be able to work in an office environment full-time, and then be able migrate towards a telecommuting/virtual environment. They must be available at all times during normal business hours of, as a minimum, 8am-3pm and adhere to all company policies.
JOB SKILLS: The selected applicants must be experienced and seasoned in both Flash and XML object-oriented programming languages. Photoshop and/or other graphics manipulation experience is also desired. Exposure to Authorware is a plus, however not mandatory. Candidates must be able to pass both a law enforcement background check and drug screening with no impediments.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
