Position

Overview

Represents the Learning, Training & Development organization to Engineering and others internal and external to The CLIENT, including engineers, designers, managers, team leads, vendor employees, and executives. Assists the engineering customer in the workplace with seminars and one-on-one coaching of CATIA V5 Mechanical and Electrical Systems in the context of ENOVIA, and associated applications. Troubleshoots complex problems related to CATIA V5 Mechanical and Electrical Systems, including related developed applications and explains solutions to customers. Plans, conducts, and analyzes results of performance analyses of the engineering group. Uses the results of performance analyses to develop measurable educational objectives. Assists course developers with design and development of curriculum, including reviews of courseware, data staging, and construction of parts used in exercises based on educational objectives. Participates in alpha and beta tests of courses. Works with Learning Integrators to define educational outcomes course objectives. Ensures educational outcomes and instructional modules are consistent with engineering processes and methods. Provides recommendations to customers on current and future LTD courses. Teaches short courses to groups ranging in size from one person to several hundred people, including live demonstrations of PLM software and its applications in the context of CATIA V5 Mechanical and Electrical Systems.

Preferred knowledge of curriculum instructional design development process. Ability to demonstrate customer service and teamwork skills, dependability, initiative. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, are required. Analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems pertaining to the CATIA V5 Mechanical and Electrical Systems and tools is required
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
