Master Electrician

***Must have an active secret clearance.***

JOB DUTIES: Need one Master Electrician licensed by the state of Arizona or other licensing agency (county or political subdivision). Candidate would be a Contract Hire Inspector for the Secure Borders Initiative Network. (SBInet). Workload will be approximately 40 hours per week, as soon as possible, and probably until December 2010.

Looking for expertise as follows: Construction site experience, reading blueprints and work instructions, particularly tower and shelter wiring, NEC compliance, and acceptable workmanship. Candidates must have have the ability to see improper wiring and electrical practices and methods on previous and new work and raise nonconformance documents and elevate issues to Company and Subcontractor local management.

Job environment is quite rigorous, in desert conditions, off road and unimproved sites. Long hours driving to tower sites on 2 lane state highways and then gravel roads. Health and stamina are paramount. Candidates would support both Tucson and Ajo sites. Work assignments would come from Company Quality and Laydown (Operations) managers in Tucson and Ajo. Candidates would be provided a Company vehicle or be part of Company teams going to sites in Company vehicles.

JOB SKILLS: Candidates will need to obtain an SBInet Program Clearance (Confidential and Law Enforcement Sensitive) and prepare a submission for background investigation by the U.S. Government. Interim clearance can be granted upon submission of package and local law enforcement and National Agency Checks.
