Create technical documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, documents, data sets, design folders, test requirements documents, manuals) in accordance with engineering processes and procedures for internal reference or external delivery
JOB SKILLS: Candidate should be familiar with design elements required to support design of computer systems for video distribution and conversion, Power distribution and safety systems, Distributed I/O systems, intercom systems, DC power distribution, wire harness design, electronic/electrical engineering design tools, Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems and National Electrical Code.
Support design team for design, requirements to suppliers, integration and test simulated crew station. Work closely with a multi-disciplined team to support design, test and implement solutions for the new Apache trainer
Work with customer on requirements and solutions to issues related to the design
Requires basic knowledge of various military and commercial bus architectures such as: 1553, RS232, RS433, and ARINC429 are also desired.
Knowledge of flight training, and maintenance training devices is desired. Knowledge of Mentor Graphics is desired
