JOB DUTIES: Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards. Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs.
Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity. Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Leads the collection, analysis and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes, and maintains status of commitments and compliance. Ensures follow up action for issue resolution. Works under minimal direction.
The position will be responsible for project management and coordination of the release of contract data deliverables through Team Center Engineering. Will also coordinate Product Revision Records and provide change management inputs for Safety, Reliability and Maintainability. Interface with suppliers to ensure flow down of requirements for subcontract deliverable data and support detailed scheduling of tier 5 events.
JOB SKILLS:
Must have expert knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially MS access, project and excel. Experience with SQL and/or database language is highly desired. Some knowledge of Processes and procedures and system engineering requirements management is preferred.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
