Employee Development Specialist/ Seal Application

Potential to support Puget Sound region though the primary work location is expected to be in Everett.

JOB DUTIES: Deliver classroom industrial skills training and job simulation skills training using various media and methods.

Assess employee skills to meet certification and qualification requirements in compliance with Company and government regulations.

Follow all applicable administrative processes.


JOB SKILLS: The ideal candidate has:
Above average skills in basic seal applications (i.e. fillets, fasteners, edge seal, etc.) as well as an understanding of the function and engineering requirements of those seal applications. Performed both body and fuel tank applications. Performed work as a sealer for a minimum of 2 years
The ability to analyze engineering specifications and identify errors, inconsistencies. Understands that work is to be performed to a specification and engineering documents and helps reinforce those best practices. Company-production specific seal application experience. A Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience effectively delivering classroom and/or job-based simulation, shop floor-environment training in most of the disciplines stated above. Experience using a learning management system. The ability to recognize and accommodate different adult learning styles. The ability to correctly interpret drawings, documents, and work instructions. The ability to use company drawing system applications and the Microsoft Office suite of tools. A positive attitude and professional demeanor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are also required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ongoing change.
