Must be able to interact with supplier to assist with definition of requirements for system upgrades/changes and to provide technical details for test definition and test results. Experience with Honeywell Primus Epic avionics systems (Gulfstream PlaneView) is beneficial. Familiarity and experience operating onboard data acquisition systems for real-time data analysis during test activities, and post-flight processing after completion of tests will be required.
Additional skills required:
1. Knowledge and experience of commercial aircraft avionics flight testing.
2. Knowledge and experience with modern integrated avionics systems.
3. Working knowledge and understanding of FAA regulations and certification processes.
Bachelors degree in engineering, a related curriculum, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 yrs in the specific technical discipline or 10 yrs broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors, or 3 yrs in the specific technical discipline with Masters, or 1 yr in the specific technical discipline with PhD.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
