JOB DUTIES: Performs or maintains routine inventory control functions. Processes returned materiel and recommends disposition. Identifies and responds to customer supply chain management issues. Processes, tracks, prepares and inputs supply chain management data. Processes and tracks supply chain requirements with internal/external suppliers to support demands and ensure best value. Coordinates and documents the movement of assets and components through the repair cycle. Works under general supervision.
JOB SKILLS:
Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have previous US Navy supply experience and civilian supply chain experience.
Knowledge:
Makes use of and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.
Problem Solving:
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.
Discretion:
Works under general supervision. Products are reviewed for sound judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact:
Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results may result in the allocation of additional resources.
Liaison:
Interacts primarily with internal personnel and external customers. Represents the organization on specific projects.
