JOB DUTIES: Material & Process Interior/Payloads Engineering Support: Candidate will support drawing reviews for 737 and P-8 airplanes. Primary support to payloads installation, and systems/airframe integration; for initial designs, fleet support, and operations value stream improvements. Review, resolve, and approve drawings for preferred materials, processes, part standards, finishes, corrosion and interface applications. Support investigations and troubleshooting for fleet and production. Support team metrics and group administration as required: drawing review metrics, work statement portfolio, stoplight charts, product standards coordination packages.
JOB SKILLS: Candidate must have ABEIT BS Engineering degree, good communication skills, eagerness to learn, be adaptable under pressure, able to work independently and within teams. Desired: PDM, good/working knowledge of interior material & process specifications, finishes, sealants, payload part standards, compatibility issues, corrosion criteria, use of standards/material & process specification for applications, and good computing skills. Candidate should either possess current knowledge or attend M&PT Program Engineering Support Role training. CATIA 4/5 environment.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
