This position will be a member of the CH-47 Wire Design & Install Integrated Product Team (IPT). Perform system definition and wire harness creation. Develops and maintains cable/wire harness 3D modeling, routing, and 2D Installation drawings using CATIA V5. Knowledge of Wiring Workbench a plus. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets. Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction
JOB SKILLS:
At least 7-9 years previous related work experience. Standard knowledge of various computer programs. College degree preferred but is not mandatory. Very good working knowledge of Catia V5. Able to pick-up and work tasks with minimal direction.
7+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
