Position Description:
**Part Time Position. Approximately 32 hours per week**
The Leave Management Services (LSM) organization is seeking an individual for its compliance review team. The compliance review team investigates allegations of fraud or misuse of Company leaves of absence.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the Family & Medical Leave Act of 1993, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 and experience applying the requirements of applicable law and Company leave policies to complex employment situations. This position also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal business partners and other service organizations.
Reviews and analyzes leave data; responds to complex questions from employees and managers regarding leaves of absence and disability.
Assist the leave management team in partnering with payroll, workers compensation, Company medical and other members of the leave value stream.
Recommends and provides rationale for leave plan design changes and/or changes to leave policies and procedures.
Monitors and analyzes legislative, judicial and regulatory actions that may impact the leave program to develop recommendations as appropriate
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience/Education: Experience applying state and federal law (FMLA, ADA and ADAAA) to complex leave transactions, investigating employee matters, and making recommendations to leadership based on his or her findings and analysis.
