Position Description: General knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures. Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Repair and maintain plant and production equipment and demonstrates advanced skill level in these areas. Knowledge of motors and drives, programmable logic controllers, computer numerically controlled and other types of machine controls. Has the ability to interpret schematics and diagrams. Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. May provide guidance to less experienced employees. Has demonstrated ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment. May receive specialized equipment training. May provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED and typically 5 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
